HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT IT’S LIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN A BODIES BY RYAN CHALLENGE? AMIDST A TONNE OF HARD WORK, THE FINAL SIX-WEEK CHALLENGE OF 2019 HAS SEEN FRIENDSHIPS FORGED, MANY LAUGHS AND STORIES SHARED, AND SOME JAW-DROPPING PHYSIQUES AND POSITIVE MINDSETS EMERGED.
AS WE WAIT FOR THE RESULTS OF THE LATEST BODIES BY RYAN SIX-WEEK CHALLENGE, SOME OF THE CONTENDERS GAVE THEIR FEEDBACK ON THEIR EXPERIENCE AND SOME BIG KUDOS TO THE BBR TEAM. GOOD LUCK TO BBR HEAD HONCHO RYAN DEVEREUX IN PICKING A WINNER (SPOILER ALERT – JUST LOOKING AT THE BODIES AND SMILES ON THESE GUYS AND GIRLS, THEY’VE ALL WON NO MATTER WHO GETS THE TROPHY).
“I have just completed a six-week physical challenge at my gym Bodies By Ryan. For six weeks, 35 people got down and dirty together. Weekly food prep, endless class after class, even as the weather got hotter outside challenge members pumped each other up and pushed each other to do double sessions, often more than once in one week…
Ryan had us all talk about our wins and losses in life which only made the group closer and more supportive. If we didn’t work as hard as we could someone was in your face pushing you to go faster, lift heavier, even breath deeper – but all within our individual limits and without intimidation.
Photos can only show the physical improvements, what you don’t see is the mental strength and happiness that has come from doing this. All those feel good hormones pumping through your body from the exercise, the peace and calm from quiet meditation plus the feeling from eating clean (except those wonderful cheat meals we were allowed), the camaraderie and new found bonds with an awesome group of people from all walks of life makes a winning combination. Thanks Ryan and the crew at BBR. Love you all.”
“I can’t speak highly enough of the BBR experience & team. The Big Rhino, little Robbie Barrett (I don’t know why I think of him this way when he could probably bench press me but he’s like a little brother or something!) and the quiet achiever of our gym, the Gene Genie, create the perfect atmosphere and circumstances for you to achieve your fitness goals. All of us can be positive, enthusiastic and encouraging SOME of the time but it takes a special kind of person to get up at 4.30 every morning and be that person day in and day out for others benefit. All three of them deserve medals and I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me.
I want to give a special mention to the big fella, Ryan Devereux. What a champion! His tireless dedication to that gym and our fitness is unwavering and truly inspiring. He literally walks the talk and is so earnest in his commitment to our goals. It’s almost impossible NOT to believe in yourself when someone else believes in you this firmly.”
“So exciting to see everyone’s transformations! I don’t envy Ryan having to choose one winner because I keep seeing them everywhere. Every session I go to, every video I see, I seem to find a new winner! Big shouts outs to everyone for an awesome challenge! Vibes are so high.”
“This challenge has been the absolute BEST! Feeling so great and positive and strong leading into the Christmas period. Thanks to everyone for being so supportive and having such great vibes over the last six weeks! Training has been next level hard, but somehow fun so I’ve looked forward to coming into each session. To the best coach in the business Ryan Devereux! Thank you so much for whipping us into shape, the constant encouragement, making it all worthwhile getting up at 455am every morning and just generally being a genuine and lovely dude! I don’t know if you fully grasp the amazing impact you have had on each of us. We are all truly grateful for all the hard work you put into BBR!”
“I just want to say thank you. THANK YOU! BBR has added so much to my life on so many levels. I just feel really good about myself. This is my third challenge, but this one in particular has honestly been incredible. I don’t think I achieved as much as I hoped physically (the DEXA scan and challenge before-and-after photos can be the judge of that!), but the connections I have made because of it and how close I feel to the gym and the people, makes me feel quite emotional.
My fitness had always been something that I squeezed in amongst other things in a busy life and a means to an end, so in the past I was usually the person that came into class, did the work and then rushed off to continue on with my day. But the BBR gym, and certainly this challenge, has shown me that it is a community of people that really care and support each other when given the chance and I think this is the “next level” that Ryan has created that I haven’t seen elsewhere. And not just anyone can do that… Ryan seems to naturally have all the ingredients that make this happen… he’s an amazing human. I really feel this challenge has created new friendships and brought me closer to a number of other members. I feel like I am HOME. I can’t thank Ryan enough.”

“Seriously, this has been the best challenge, with the most awesome, friendly and encouraging people. It really has been so nice to get to know each other and Ryan you really have created something that is next level, not sure you can top this.”
“A huge thanks Ryan for putting us through our paces over the last six weeks and making us step out of our comfort zones with this challenge. Can’t wait to put the champers on ice (and the cinnamon scroll as a side dish) to celebrate the end of the challenge.”
“Ryan has created an amazing community at BBR and doing the 6 week challenge was the best possible introduction I could have imagined into his tribe. So much positivity and encouragement. Thanks Ryan!”
“Coming into 2020, I feel strong and positive, and I’m so grateful to the BBR team and members for the atmosphere. The six-week challenge is the perfect way to focus on (and achieve) your fitness goals with a team of like-minded people supporting you every inch of the way. The BBR challenge takes your health and fitness to the next level with Ryan pushing you to make changes that help you become your best self, physically, mentally and emotionally.”
